It was especially cool to see Tom and the boys win since it was my birthday! :)

As for the game itself, it started out pretty well. Both offense and defense were doing their jobs, and so were special teams. Tom even looked like he might have shaken nearly all the rust off as they did score a touchdown on their second possession after only a field goal the first time.

Unfortunately some of his throws were inaccurate as time went on, and his receivers weren’t running the right routes, dropping balls, and stepping out-of-bounds other times. Definitely not on the same page.

Bill Belichick made an incredibly gusty call, going on 4th-and-three on the Patriots' 24! Yikes! The guy's a mad scientist! ;)

Atlanta was a tough opponent but was held to few points by the Patriots’ D. Then Tom started connecting and he threw his 200th career touchdown pass to tight end Chris Baker. He’s only the 27th quarterback in NFL history to reach that number. Awesome! :)

Things are slowly coming along, though we lost our nose tackle Vince Wilfork with an ankle injury, but hopefully not for long. :(

The game was much better than last week, but there’s a LOT of work to be done to get the offense clicking. The defense came up with a turnover but still needs to make big plays. However, after last week, not bad, not bad. :)
