I decided to use the aliens from "Until The Yellow Sun Blesses You Again...". Why waste good bad guys and their vicious winged pets? ;)
Yeah, I labelled this "One" as in first-in-a-series, because I think a sequel might be in order. If I don’t write one, I’ll just knock off the Roman numeral.
In an aside, I’m glad that we were taught Roman numerals in grade school, otherwise how could we know which Super Bowl it is? ;)

Title Switch ;)

A word on the Steve/Diana series I recently started: I switched the series title and subtitle, mainly because I realized the glass imagery was going to work better with this story. So it is now Stained Glass I: Shattered as the full title.

Why does glass work better? Well, Diana and Steve are going to be broken, very broken. As to whether the pieces can be put back together again, it might take a few sequels for that. :)

Anyway, I figured it would be easy to do with only 3 chapters posted, and your eyes are fine. Do not adjust your TV set! ;) It was a switch that my crazy self did. ;)

Title Question

Hmm, my OCD self is wondering if I should make one more change to the "Stained Glass" series title. As I said in my previous post, the glass imagery works better as a series title. My question to the readers is: do you think the subtitle works better as "Shattered"? Considering the violence in this story and its aftermath, it could work. The "Shadowed Sun" reference was to the fascination that the G'darrans had with the color of Steve's hair, and the imagery could also work as he's definitely going to be under a shadow.

I'd welcome your opinions. With the "Stained Glass" series title, I can use other glass imagery within the subtitles, or use them in the chapter titles.

It's just a case of my OCD kicking up again (thankfully a mild case!) but I think it could work either way.

Anyway, thanks for your patience and I might change the title once more, otherwise it'll stay the same as it is right now. :)

I know, I'm a crazy person, but it's not easy living with this little peccadillo! *sighs*

Believe It Or Not, I Made Up My Mind! ;)

Okay, I know you're definitely saying, "She's nuts!" but I did make up my mind for the title thing. I decided that I wanted the glass imagery all across the board, and I'm using the "Shadowed Sun" as a chapter title instead of subtitle.

There, aren't you happy this is resolved now? ;)

On the serious side, my stress levels have been through the roof the last few days. That's why my OCD, which is usually mild, has come on strong and driven me crazy, and I dithered over the titles, which is minutiae and is silly to dither over, but that's what OCD does to you. I apologize for spamming your flists with this, thanks to those who responded (you're a patient bunch!) and I hope reading the story will make up for the annoyance. ;)
