Hmm, I see that while No. 1 at the box office, Justice League is far below earnings expectations for Opening Weekend, Reviews (which I haven't read) are mixed. Just give us Wonder Woman movies, guys! :)

Question: I assume the Thor movie has scenes after the credits as per the Marvel custom? What about Justice League? Any sneaky scenes after the credits? I plan on seeing JL this Friday and the Thor movie when it gets to the discount theater.

This entry has been cross-posted from Dreamwidth. Comment on either entry as you wish. :)

You may have already looked this up, but Thor has 2. IDK how many JL has but I know that there is at least one.

Thank you! I'll keep that in mind for Thor's film. JL has two post-credit scenes. :)

Overall, I liked the JL movie. Not the best superhero movie I've ever seen by any means, but I smiled and laughed a lot more than I thought I would.

I think it's not doing as well as hoped for a combination of reasons: the movie is fighting against the reputations of Man of Steel and Batman vs. Superman, audiences are probably a bit weary of superhero movies and only spending money on those that receive unanimous praise (something the polarizing DC movies never get), and anyone who needed a superhero fix this season just got one with Thor: Ragnarok. While it's true that Joss Whedon added some much needed humor, it's also true that anyone who didn't like Zack Snyder's other DC movies will probably find things they don't like about this one, too.

I think you should see it. And yes, there are two end credit scenes!

Thank you!

I agree with everything you've said. DC dug itself a pretty big hole. A shame, because this movie is pretty good.

It's funny, looking back on my review now, I'm wondering if I was too harsh on the movie myself. I've never run into movies that made me second guess my own opinion so often - I did the same thing with MoS and BvS.

I know I'd like to see JL again, and feel the Rotten Tomatoes reviewers sound like they're jumping on a "hate DC" bandwagon at this point, so maybe that's my true opinion right there.

And I don't know about the rest of the Thor movie, but the first 30 minutes felt so ridiculous I couldn't even sit through the rest of it. Others say it got better, or that it was great, so now I don't know what to think. I'll be curious to read what you thought of it.

I've been skeptical of the bad reviews, because it's piling on now as far as DC goes IMHO.

I plan on seeing Thor: Ragnorak when it gets to my local discount theater. I hate paying first-run prices but did it with JL because I didn't want to wait. :)

That's an interesting observation about the movie. I am more curious than ever to see it now.
