Week 14: New England Patriots 30, Baltimore Ravens 23 (11-2) (Monday, December 2, 2016)

The Patriots nearly gave the game away after a strong start (would've been a blow-out!). A boneheaded INT by Brady and two special teams mistakes (turnovers) gifted the Ravens with 17 points in the second half. The whole game was wacky as the Pats scored first in the first half with a safety (2 points) and there was good offense after a stumbling start, but the wheels looked like they were falling off as a 23-3 lead dwindled to 23-20, but Tom let loose with a 79-yard bomb to Chris Hogan o stretch the lead to 30-20 (Ravens would score a field goal later).

Tom threw for 406 yards and 3 TDs. RB LeGarrette Blount went over 1000 yards rushing for the season and scored his 14th touchdown for 2016, tying a franchise record (Curtis Martin).

BTW, the Giants accused the Steelers this week of underinflating footballs. You didn't hear about it? Not surprising. The story took up about a total of five minutes on ESPN, the NFL Network, FOX Sports, etc. No leading the evening news. No rabid pack of reporters calling Ben Roethlisberger (Steelers QB) a cheater and liar at his press conference. No loss of draft picks, a million bucks, or 4-game suspension and smearing of the game's greatest player. Guess what? Tom Brady told the truth! NO ONE TAMPERED WITH THE FOOTBALLS! IT WAS THE IDEAL GAS LAW, NFL DUMMIES!!!

Giants tweeted out today, "Much ado about nothing." Unless you're trying to trump up a case against the Patriots, right? All this tells you all you need to know about the witch hunt case against the Patriots. The Good Ol' Boy network is alive and well in the NFL.

The Dolphins and Jets won and the Bills lost this week.

NE 11-2
Miami 8-5
BUFF 6-7
NYJ 4-9 (OT)

Nexr week: on to Denver!

Not only that, now the Giants having been accused of using walkie talkies on the sidelines last week, as Eli slipped up in an interview and threw McAdoo under the bus. LOL Kinda ironic that there's an investigation about that considering the deflated balls non-issue and the Mara family's connection to the head office.

As for the balls, I never really expected anything to come of it. Goodell's witchhunt failed miserably the end, with the Patriots back on top in their division, Brady not missing a beat, and the ratings/fan reaction declining noticeably this year. Now, I know that most NFL fans hate the team, but I think the general public just got so burnt out on the media frenzy. So, couple that with the lackluster games of this season overall, Satan and Co. might be a little nervous.

Can you imagine the feeding frenzy if Belichick had been dumb enough to use a walkie-talkie in full view of everyone on he sidelines? Cheater! Scumbag! Ban him for life! Nothing will come of this 'investigation', either, because it's the Giants.

The NFL won't release any ball measurements from this season or last. Why? Because they didn't bother to take measurements for every game, and those they did, they finally realized it was the Ideal Gas Law. Tom's reputation is forever tarnished, and he'll never get those four games back.

Goodell's too much of a coward to ever show his face at Gillette again. He hasn't stepped foot in our stadium since the mess begin, dissing the 2014 Super Bowl champs by not coming to Opening Night and he never sent a congratulatory note to Tom when he won Game No. 201. Real class..

Yeah, and everybody knows that the deflated ball phenom has been happening for years. I mean, in 2014 alone, there were reports of the Panthers and Packers having footballs below the PSI level. Why? Because it was freaking cold!!! LOL

But, like you said, bc it happened to the Patriots(in a complete shut out against the Colts), Goodell was handed an unjustified witchhunt on a silver platter. Never mind, it was the most ludicrous sports scandal ever, but it opened the door. 'eye roll'

I personally hope that I never heard the terms "Ideal Gas Law" or "PSI" again, especially from an ESPN or NFL employee.
