Great Caesar's Ghost! 'Tis The Ides Of March!

Yes, it's the Ides of March! Hope it went well for all of ye! ;)

In this part o' the country, St. Patrick's Day is a BIG DEAL! People are crammin' the pubs tonight to get an early start on the Grand Day, which is Sunday. And the folks in Suffolk County get Monday off because of Evacuation Day (also March 17th), when General Washington drove the heathen British out o' Boston durin' that little set-to called the Revolution, dontcha know?

Rumor has it that Christian Bale was spotted in Southie (South Boston) filmin' a new movie with the likes o' the lass who co-starred with him and Mark Wahlberg in The Fighter. 'Tis a story set in the '70s about all kinds o' skullduggery and chicanery.

All the houses are decorated, mine included, with shamrocks and leprechaun hats and Mickey D's is offerin' fish McBites and Green Shamrock Shakes, and Dunkin' Donuts has its green shakes, too. Ah, O'Connor's will be packed all weekend! The Grand Parade will kick off in Southie this Sunday.

A mad Irishman must be Thomas Patrick Brady with the loss of his binky, Wes Welker. *shakes head* A mistake, b'gosh and b'gorra! To let Wes go to Denver! 'Tis a grand shame, to be sure.
